Vandalism on Cantu's Recall Signs
I drove around town this morning to find that all of the signs that were put up by Melendez, Cantu, and Santillano were vandalised. I just wanted to say that although I and several other people leading the recall effort do not agree with what was written on these signs, we in no way had any part in this act. We do not condone this kind of behavior and we regret that some people chose to do this.

It seems someone felt there was disrespect towards the American flag.Will the students of Mcfarland that passed out the flyers be taught to disrespect the flag of the U.S. Maybe those that made the signs are to blame for that mistake or whomever payed to have them made.I really think an apology should be made for the disrespect.What will people from other cities think as they drive through Mcfarland.
I agree that the destruction of the sign was a very immature act on someone part. Unexcuseable! But, I'll tell you guys what. That's the problem,the Mexican flag has to come first. Even though, these people get their jobs, their education, their welfare, and everything else they have from the U. S. A. up goes the Mexican flag. Who do they really have alliegence to? Why were the "No people" making this a Mexico vs. America issue. There shouldn't have been either flag on the sign. They are wanting to make this a race issue and it is not.
What are the people who are just passing through this city going to think? There are going to think this is another city in Mexico. Why can't the citizens of this city think of the good for all in this city and not just think of themselves. I for one am sick of everything. I am sick of the way the city is being run, the school district, the lack of pride in the city (trash in the street and along our county roads), the Mexican flag first people. Wake up and take pride in McFarland, reach out to make it a better place for all. I for one will be out of here in about two months. Watch for a for sale sign!(omming soon)And no I won't be the the last one out after all.
