Questionable Travel Expenses?
We just received some of the documents that we had requested from the City of McFarland. The document below shows that the city paid $600 to cover the mayor's wife's (Lorraine) lodging and meals for a recent trip to Korea. It also shows an American Express statement for a city credit card that was charged for $432 to pay for her plane ticket to Washington D.C. I didn't know the city offered such nice travel benefits for family members of city officials.

My lifelong goal was always to graduate from college with a degree, get a good job, meet the man of my dreams, get married, have kids and lead a comfortable life...but after reading this, my lifelong goal has changed...my new goal is to marry the mayor of some small, seemingly insignificant town, and have all my travel expenses paid....i could see the world and not think twice about where the money came from.
This document is proof of wrong doing. There is no way around it, the mayor did something illegal (last time I checked) and we, as the citizens of this small town, need to do something about it. Let's put a stop to this and let's stop letting the mayor give us a bad name!
well if it was so illegal then what are the other council member doing there just sitting around in their ass looking pretty
