McFarland School Board Recall Stopped!

We just received some great news. The McFarland school board recall has officially been stopped! Another win for the good guys. Sometime this morning a Kern County judge decided to end the recall after viewing all of the evidence of how signatures were collected illegally.

Who are these so called "Good Guys"? Are they interested in doing the right thing for themselves or the students of McFarland? How many of them still have children in the McFarland Unified School District?

Why do employees of the District feel intimidated by the District level administrators? Apparently one does not need an administrative credential to hold a district level position in McFarland. Maybe we will get more administrators that were asked to leave other districts for improper conduct, harrassment, etc. Soon they will have a district level position.

I hope they did not take books out of the teacher's classrooms, food from the cafeteria, uniforms from the student-athlete that represent McFarland, and money from those that work on a personal level with "our" kids.

Attorneys fees are expensive. So where did the money come from to pay for Kasiner, Chandler and Muñoz' high priced lawyers?

How about it Rodarte? How familiar are you with our school district? Do you know who runs the district? Do you know where the money came from to stop the recall election? Will this happen to the city council recall? Stay tuned!!!!

Oyes Rodarte,
You have got to put an end to your bias reporting. Esto es lo que hubieras escrito....

We just received some news. The McFarland school board recall has officially been stopped! Sometime this morning a Kern County commissioner (not judge) decided to end the recall after viewing some of the evidence of how signatures were collected.

You would not want people to think that you are one sided. You sound like the liberal media, not fair and balanced. Or am I mistaking blogs for real news not for one sided propoganda.

Quizas has notado que muchos de los cuidadanos de McFarland no te estan respondando como antes. a(or are they, but you are not posting their entries).

En tus palalbras...
"This blog site has been created for members of the McFarland community to express their thoughts and opinions regarding events that are occuring. Please feel free to post your comments to items being discussed on this blog, comments are welcome in English or Spanish...."

I understand someone may have impersonated your suegro and posted an entry, but if you are going to be a leader in this community, you better have some thick skin and go with the flow. Erasing that one entry would have been sufficient, not moderating every entry. Maybe you would get more participation once again. I use to enjoy reading these blogs, but not anymore. This was a great form of comedy.
So, ¿que dices? ¿Estamos de acuerdo?

By "good guys" I was simply referring to the people that follow the rules and obey the laws.

I would suggest you read the California Education Code section 7054. District funds cannot be used to favor candidates in a legitamate ballot measure or election. In this case it was clear that this school board recall effort was flawed and several people were dishonest in getting the measure on the ballot. If 1 or 2 people had made a mistake in petitions that they turned in then that might be considered an honest mistake. But 6 people were caught submitting fradulent petitions. I call that a conspiracy and intentional effort to deceive public officials. The school district had a right to use all the resources available to them in this case.

Who paid for the lawyers that drafted that dumb letter that the mayor proposed to have sent up to the state attorney general? The taxpayers of McFarland did.

Over and over again you focus on the money...if you're sooooo concerned on how a city spends your HARD earned money why did you come here? Take yourself over to another city to live in!!! I agree with the anonymous comments..YOU have no idea about the problems of the school district or what is going on there so do yourself a great favor...STAY OUT OF IT!!!!!!!

To the post on 4/15, 1:31 AM.

It is hard to direct a response at a particular person when that person does not identify himself or herself. Perhaps next time you can include your name.

Regarding the school district issues. Here is what I propose. Go investigate these issues and send me copies of the documentation that you obtain. I'll post it on the blog for everyone to see and form their own opinion. Sound fair?

To the 4/14, 8:43pm post.
I guess I do tend to be one-sided and a harsh critic of the mayor and councilmembers. But I still have yet to come across examples of good things that they have done for the community.

You don't get to see many of the posts that come through because I moderate them. I moderate them because there are people that submit multiple posts trying to pass themselves off as several different people, even though they are being submitted from the same computer. I consider this a form of blog abuse and I think it would be unfair to publish all of them.

Thanks for the suggestion but I think I'll stay in McFarland and I'll continue to ask questions about what is occuring in town. :)

I hope you will provide evidence for the other accusations that you have made regarding the 4 other people on administrative leave and the pending lawsuits.
