Garbage Fee Increases
Our city leaders have signed a contract that will increase the cost that McFarland residents pay for our recyclable garbage services. Although R&F Disposal was the only company to submit a bid before the deadline, the mayor decided to extend the deadline so that Sunset Waste could submit their bid for nearly twice as much as what R&F bid.
Fee schedules provided to the city by both R&F and Sunset Waste. The R&F proposal is nearly 50% lower than the Sunset proposal.

Hey Ralph the rumor around town is that your father-in-law and Gary Johnson are receiving a kick-back from R&F Disposal for every house in McFarland under the table. I believe the mayor should investigate this. maybe then R&F can lower their rates. R&F if you read this you better talk now before it's to late.

All you have is a RUMOR and yet this young couple have proof of all the crooked mistakes and lies the mayor has done and said. At least they get documents, what do you got!? Let me guess...rumors! Are you not intelligent enough to do the investigative work Rodarte has done?? Guess not!!
I agree with the first comment, I think the mayor should investigate the "rumors" and produce evidence of them.
Mr. Rodarte, I know for a fact that Mr. Rudy(Raul)Irizarri himself told a councilman about paying this franchise fee of $2.50 per home to your father-in-law and Gary Johnson. This councilman told me after speaking with Rudy. Your own supporters are turning their backs on you and your father-in-law. I recommend that you check with Rudy as to whether this is true, amongst all your many so-called investigations.
Give it up Mr. Garza I know you think the residents of McFarland are idiots, since you so clearly announced it during the meeting on Thursday during your opening statement. Everyone knows you're behind this and your dragging your children and their reputation in the mud along with yours. Or call the state office and let them handle these issues. Why show so much hate for the Mayor and the other guys, it may only come back to affect you more.
he's hiding something . . . ben's trying to deflect the attention on others because he's hding something. And, we'd love to manufacture, i mean, provide evidence but, ben and gary, the previous administration has all the records and a computer w/ the records.
